Luckily the post-production process wasn't as difficult as I anticipated. I already had a sequence planned out with the landscapes going sequentially.
I wanted to add a glitch effect to give the video a sense of the simulation visually breaking and finding corresponding sounds to match those sounds. The landscape sounds were a bit more tedious because I had to find some game samples and heavily distort them on Audacity, then import them into Premiere Pro.
And finally, to put the finishing touches on the film. The idea of a portal transporting the viewer into the simulation randomly popped into my head, so I decided to say why not and made a whole portal sequence from scratch. Thankfully this tutorial I found on youtube made the process a lot easier and was a mixture of simple duplicating meshes and messing around with noise textures in the shader tab.
